August 20th Release - Parser Upgrades, Branding & UI Polish
Our August 20th release focuses on boosting parser capabilities, improving user experience across SEO and branding features, and refining several UI elements to ensure a more polished, accessible platform.
Enhanced OpenAPI Parser Support for oneOf, allOf, and anyOf
We've significantly upgraded our OpenAPI parser to support complex types:
What changed: oneOf, allOf, and anyOf components are now properly interpreted and rendered.
Why it matters: Previously, specs using these complex types were either handled incorrectly or not rendered at all in the UI.
Impact: Uploaded YAML/JSON specs with these structures will now be parsed and visualized accurately, ensuring complete documentation integrity.
Branding & SEO Improvements
OG Image Support for Developer Portals
Developer Portal owners can now upload custom Open Graph (OG) images directly in the SEO Management tab.
New UI Component:
- Label: Open Graph Image
- Image preview thumbnail
- "Upload" and "Reset to default" actions
This aligns the Developer Portal with Documentation features and enhances social sharing with brand-consistent visuals.
Favicon Sharing Fix
We've fixed an issue where the favicon wouldn't update in social preview links (e.g., shared in Slack or Teams).
Now: When users upload a new favicon via Branding, it is correctly reflected across all shared previews.
Published View Navigation Improvements
When using Single Page Navigation in Published View:
- Navigation arrows still scroll to the correct section.
- Now: The browser URL updates to reflect the active section (e.g., #section-id) — improving accessibility and deep-linking.
UI & UX Enhancements
Visual Consistency Across the Platform
We've fixed several UI polish items for a more seamless experience:
API Explorer & Changelog:
- Updated AI search input label from "Search or ask ChatGPT…" to "Search or ask…"
Published View:
- Fixed branding variable usage on the "Show More" button in light mode.
Changelog Page:
- The Active Filters component now reflects custom branding instead of default Theneo blue.
API Versioning Modal (Dark Mode):
- Resolved background inconsistencies for a cleaner, unified appearance.
Sign In/Sign Up Pages:
- Matched text size, weight, and button styling for better visual harmony.
