May 14th Release - AI Search, Slug Generation & Custom Domain Fixes
We've rolled out a series of important bug fixes and improvements to enhance your documentation experience across AI search, custom domains, and public project accessibility. Here's what's new:
Improved AI Search Filtering Accuracy
We've fixed a key issue where AI search results on the dashboard were incorrectly limited to a pre-filtered 1-week period.
What's improved:
- All-Time Visibility: AI search results now display all questions asked since the document's creation — no more artificial time constraints.
- Accurate Result Count: The number of results now reflects the actual number of questions asked.
- Smarter No Results Message: If no results match the selected date range, you'll now see a clear, accurate message instead of a generic one.
Correct Slug Generation for Other Docs
Creating "Other Documentation" (e.g., Blank Documentation) now works as expected with properly generated slugs.
Fix highlights:
- Slugs for the first section are now correctly generated from the section name.
- Resolved the issue where slugs were incorrectly reused from previous projects or generated randomly.
Custom Domain Refresh Fix (Single Page Template)
A critical fix has been applied for custom domains using the Single Page Template.
What was happening:
- Refreshing a page on a custom domain triggered a misleading error: "Project is not published", despite the project being live.
What's fixed:
- You can now refresh Single Page docs on a custom domain without losing access or seeing incorrect private project messages.
Endpoint Summary Navigation Fix (Single Page)
We've resolved a navigation issue in Single Page layouts where clicking an endpoint in the Endpoint Summary widget didn't scroll to the right section.
What's improved:
- Clicking an endpoint in the summary widget now redirects correctly within the Single Page view, restoring expected and smooth navigation behavior.
