The esteemed international jury recognized Theneo's groundbreaking work in crafting high-quality, interactive API documentation, awarding them the coveted first prize and a chance to compete in the global semi-finals at Silicon Valley.
With the global semi-finals in sight, Theneo is set to showcase its innovation in front of over 100 potential investors, vying for the grand prize of a remarkable 1,000,000 USD investment. This achievement puts Theneo in the league of startups from more than 70 countries, all contending for the ultimate recognition in the world finals, scheduled for September 30, 2022, in Los Angeles, USA.
The Startup World Cup Georgia competition was a collaborative effort by Startup Connect, USMAC, USAID Economic Security Program, European Union (EU), United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), and Batumi City Hall. Support from the EU and UNDP regional initiative "Mayors for Economic Growth" (M4EG) further bolstered the local startup competition.
The award ceremony took place amidst the "Bridge to Silicon Valley" conference, hosting esteemed participants from the USA, Great Britain, and EU countries. This platform facilitated the exchange of expertise on startup ecosystem development, venture capital, innovation commercialization, and new financial prospects for aspiring entrepreneurs.
